Parineeti Chopra has said that her acting technique is similar to that of the star Kajol.
The 24-year-old actor made her Bollywood debut in the romantic drama Ishaqzaade.
She told Business of Cinema: "Well, both Kajol and Rani [Mukerji] are extremely spontaneous actors and more instinctive than rehearsed, so on that front yes, I am similar. In fact, they both are my absolute favourites."
Chopra also commented on her cousin Priyanka Chopra's acting career, saying: "She's always family more than an actor.
"Yes, I love her work and she is undoubtedly one of the best actresses."
Chopra admitted that she never thought she would get honoured for her first role after receiving a Special Mention at the 60th National Film Awards.
She has also recently said that she does not only want to be referred to as Priyanka Chopra's relative.
