Now we all know that Priyanka Chopra totally adores her cousin Parineeti Chopra, who not long ago made a smashing debut into Bollywood. And despite being in the same profession, there has been no rivalry between the two Chopra sisters…so far. But it seems that that may change very soon, as Priyanka’s Zanjeer is releasing on the same day as Parineeti’s Shudh DesiRomance . We know Zanjeer was initially supposed to release on September 13. However, PeeCee got all jittery about her film clashing with Pari’s and asked the makers to change the release date . Finally September 6 was locked for the Priyanka-Ram Charan Teja starrer to hit the big screen. While the Barfi! actor thought she had avoided a clash, destiny had other plans. Shuddh Desi Romance starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra and debutante Vaani Kapoor was set for a September 13 release. But after being invited to the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) for a Gala RedCarpet premiere, Yash Raj Films decided to release the rom-com a week early, on September 6. Oops ! Ab kya hoga? While the films are completely different from each other, wethinks Parineeti’s role in YRF’s film is much meatier than Priyanka’s in the remake of Zanjeer. Maybe that’s why PeeCee didn’t want to compete with her cousin, as the younger gal may well overshadow her senior in the box office race. Check out the trailers of both films and you’ll know what we mean! Well, Pari is a terrific actor and we won’t be surprised if she gives her Mimi didi a run for her money . And while the two siblings have already heated up the race, we are sure sparks will fly when the third Chopra sister – Meera Chopra makes an entry into Bollywood. But that young lady is someone who P and P don’t talk about, remember!
